Would you rather run a business that works on cars, homes or commercial buildings? Automotive means vehicle work. Architectural window film means film for buildings. Some brands offer both, along with other services. Start by asking what work your business would offer and what you would personally do each week.
The reviewed US-facing company pages describe different offers: Turbo Tint lists vehicle tint, paint protection and film for buildings; CoolVu describes residential and commercial glass and surface solutions. Sun Stoppers presents Home & Office and Express as separate programs. Confirm the actual services and availability for your location.
Ask each company to walk you through a normal job, from the first inquiry to payment and any warranty work. Who sells, measures, quotes, installs and schedules it? What premises, vehicle, equipment and employees are required? What will you personally do each week?
A mixed service menu is not a promise that every service will produce meaningful demand in your area. Compare the local work, costs and obligations behind the menu.
Follow one typical job
For car work, ask how the business books the vehicle, selects the film, prepares the glass and handles collection. For building work, ask who visits the property, assesses the windows, prepares the quote and arranges access. These are questions to test with the provider, not a universal operating manual.
Check demand for the work you plan to sell
List the customers you could realistically serve and the competing services already available. For homes and buildings, find out who approves the work and grants access. For vehicle accounts, ask about payment terms and return visits as well as booking volume. A national growth figure or another owner’s busy diary does not establish local demand.
